The Corporate Compliance and Data Protection Institute Limited (CCDP) was established in 2023 in response to the enactment of Data Protection legislation and the growing demand for rigorous compliance with anti-money laundering rules and requirements under the Proceeds of Crime Act (POCA).
With major changes in national regulatory frameworks, Boards of Directors needed to be retrained to gain new competences in ensuring that policies and procedures are put in place and that companies are staffed and personnel trained to meet the new legislative requirements.
CCDP’s principals are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and competencies to meet the learning and development needs of enterprises in various fields of the public and private sector.
CCDP’S vision is one of a Jamaican business sector that is compliant with legal rules and requirements that translate into a country that is compliant with international standards to combat money laundering, terrorist financing, and proliferation of illegal financial activities as well as data protection.
